Great Places to Eat in Coral Gables

Dining in Coral Gables, whether at a lively gastropub or tucked away in a cozy tea house, is truly a satisfying experience.  There are so many great options, it can be hard to decide!  Check out one of my suggestions the next time you step out to eat, and then let me know how it went.

For delicious Italian food with a cult following, go to Fratellino at 264 Miracle Mile.  The mussels in marinara sauce and chicken parmesan are especially popular, but really, everything on their menu is made to perfection.

In the mood to unwind?  Visit Small Tea at 205 Aragon Avenue.  They’ve made Miami New TImes’ Best of Miami List and for good reason.  Here, you can enjoy a scrumptious selection of sandwiches, salads, desserts, and freshly brewed teas in a cozy, refined space.

For charm, great service, and a fantastic duck confit, head to Frenchie’s Diner, a wildly popular bistro at 2618 Galiano Street.  Their mussels and fries are also worth trying.  It can get pretty crowded, but the food is worth it.

Sometimes you just need a proper steak.  Graziano’s at 394 Giralda Avenue has you covered.  This Argentinian restaurant boasts an impressive “Wall of Wine” and a fire pit visible through floor-to-ceiling glass.  Whatever you order here will be tender, juicy, and perfectly grilled.

Craving sushi?  For the absolute freshest fish, visit Matsuri at 5759 Bird Road.  They can get really busy, thanks to their creative sushi menu and Japanese fare.  The atmosphere is warm, a little offbeat, and laidback.

Finally, I suggest The Seven Dials at 2030 South Douglas Road, a small British gastropub.  Their fish and chips, cottage pie, and proper sausage consistently get rave reviews.  Finish off your meal with bread pudding.  You’ll love it!
